2018/19 Season

The Daughter of the Regiment

NOVEMBER 8, 2018

Adopted, raised and loved by a French army regiment, Marie is a tough tomboy who’s fallen for the handsome peasant Tonio. But, unknown to her, Marie was high-society born. Her aunt and all her adoptive fathers are insistent that Marie’s husband be a man in their uniform. Will Marie be tough enough to defy societal conventions and choose her heart over her status?

JANUARY 17, 2019

The young gypsy Carmen – a fiery, feminist heroine – is loved by two men, but she’s enamored by only one – a matador, Escamillo. Once she begins to follow her wild heart to be with the bullfighter, her betrothed flies into a rage. And even when Carmen meets her tragic demise, she is fearless.

Eugene Onegin

Tatiana is beautiful, educated, and in love. Unlike many before her, she writes to Onegin -her love- only to be rejected. Years later Tatiana has married and moved on, and Onegin returns –with a love letter back to her. But now she must reject the man who rejected her, saying “no” to true love but “yes” to honor.
