2025 Summer Workshop Details

 Summer is the perfect time for young singers to experience focused, immersive vocal training*. The Youth Academy’s Summer Workshop offers an immersion like no other program!

Join us for 2 weeks of learning and performing led by internationally acclaimed instructors and top university faculty.

The program’s curriculum includes:

  • vocal techniques
  • private lessons
  • master classes
  • repertory coaching
  • elementary stage combat
  • physical expression
  • care of the voice
  • more

*Prior opera experience is not required to participate in the Teen Workshop.

Workshop Dates & Location

Teen Workshop: June 16 – 27, 2025

  • 9am – 5pm
  • Central Piedmont Community College – Central Campus (Elizabeth Avenue)

Workshop Auditions & Enrollment

New students must audition/apply and be accepted into the program before they may register.

Auditions are held both virtually and in-person. Please complete the Audition Request Form to set your audition.

Previous Workshop participants may register immediately for the 2024 Workshop and do not need to audition. Please contact the Academy Coordinator to register if you are a returning student.

Audition Requirements

Auditions for new students will require the following:

  • Completion of the audition request form
  • 2 pieces performed – must be classical, art song, or musical theatre (no pop songs), contrasting styles & languages preferred if available
  • Live accompaniment preferred, track accompaniment accepted

Workshop Tuition

Tuition: $600
