John Fortson

Mr. Fortson has sung numerous oratorio and operatic roles throughout the Southeast. For Opera Carolina his performances have included the roles of Lodovico in Otello, Bonze in Madama Butterfly, and The Speaker, First Priest, and Second Man in Armor in The Magic Flute. This past season he sang the role of Nourabad in The Pearl Fishers with Opera Southwest. He will return there next season as The King of Egypt in Aida.
