Opera Carolina’s New General Director

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Shanté Williams will join Opera Carolina as our new General Director, beginning July 1, 2024. A distinguished businesswoman, Dr. Williams brings a wealth of experience and dynamic leadership to Opera Carolina. In her new role, she’ll be the first woman and the first person of color to lead the company.
