October 5th Family Opera

Join us on the lawn of the Davidson Library for an afternoon of family fun! Presented in partnership with the Davidson branch of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library system, our season feature A Busy Bee will make for a morning abuzz with excitement! As this performance takes place on the library lawn, seats or blankets will need to be provided by attendees.

Family Opera brings families together through music, stories, and positive morales about trying our best. This past weekend, Hurricane Helene devastated countless families and communities in North Carolina. Our neighbors need our help, and Opera Carolina is determined to play our part. Opera Carolina is raising funds to donate for Feeding the Carolinas, a network uniting ten food banks that serve North and South Carolina acting as a unified voice addressing food insecurity. Music feeds our ears, food feeds our bodies, and supporting each other feeds our souls. Please consider donating to address the dire food shortage and help bring our neighbors together in this time.

About A Busy Bee:

All the bees in Bella’s hive have a job to do to keep the hive thriving, including her friends Sophia, Buzz, and Miguel. Now it’s Bella’s turn to discover how she will contribute. Is she a nurse bee? A guard bee? Or maybe a cleaning bee? Join us as Bella finds her determination and discovers her place in the hive!
