As a regular with Opera Carolina, Mrs. Miller has performed in productions with the company such as, Art • Poetry • Music, AIDA, Nabucco, Aleko, and most recently La Traviata. Other roles with Opera Carolina include her professional debut in 2014 as the Abess in Puccini’s Il Trittico and her return to the stage in 2015 as Alicia in Lucia di Lammermoor.
This year marks Mrs. Miller’s fifth season as a resident company member at Opera Carolina.
Megan is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University under the mentorship of Grammy Award Winning Soprano, Marilyn Mims & critically acclaimed soprano, Virginia Zeani. Since graduation, Megan has sung with The Palm Beach Opera Company, The Minnesota Opera Company, and Opera Carolina.
While in Minnesota, Mrs. Miller had the opportunity to sing “The Chorus of Hebrew Slaves (Va, Pensiero)” on A Prairie Home Companion with the MN Opera Chorus.
Most recently she was featured as a “local Charlotte celebrity” guest on the “trolley karaoke” video – singing “Stayin Alive” for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign to raise awareness of heart disease.
