Opera doesn’t only take place in the theater. Opera Carolina is dedicated to sharing this tradition with all facets of the community, including our educational community. For 50 years, Opera Carolina has been helping children and families discover the treasure that is Opera – from in-school touring programs to summertime workshops, and the legacy that is the Opera’s educational offerings.

Youth

From our Youth Academy that provides foundational and immersive training where young singers can find their voices to enjoying Student Nights at the Opera in the theater, any youth can enjoy opera with us!

Schools

Schools can empower learning through opera with our in-school touring company, special nights in the theater for K-12 students, and in-class workshops that activate learning through the arts.

Family

Make family memories and begin new traditions with us by enjoying our Family Opera series around the region and joining us for special nights in the theater for K-12 students and their parents.
